‘Issue of Fairness’ Escalates –– Trump Threatens To Quash Federal Funding For California In Response To Trans Long Jumper: “THIS IS NOT FAIR, AND TOTALLY DEMEANING”

As Clovis, CA prepares for a girls’ track and field championship, the president has weighed in on the potentially “ILLEGAL” participation of a born male athlete, with many girls feeling “very discouraged” by the alleged disparity that the individual’s “genetic advantages” has invited.

The Trump Administration has vowed Tuesday to severely reduce or even completely extinguish federal funding for California, as another trans athlete is set to compete alongside biological females in a girls’ long jumping championship event in Clovis, May 30-31.

“This week a transitioned Male athlete, at a major event, won “everything,” and is now qualified to compete in the “State Finals”,” President Donald Trump contested on Truth Social, taking aim at the state for continuing to “ILLEGALLY allow “MEN TO PLAY IN WOMEN’S SPORTS.””

Trump is reaffirming his zero-tolerance policy for men in women’s sports, per his Executive Order from February on the subject. In an ultimatum to Gov. Gavin Newsom and the California Interscholastic Federation, he warned that “large scale Federal Funding will be held back, maybe permanently,” if the state does not fully address AB Hernandez, a male-to-female trans athlete slated to compete at the 2025 CIF State Track & Field Championships.

Hernandez, a Junior at Jurupa Valley High School, will be the only openly transgender athlete at the meet, since landing first place at a qualifying event. Hernandez had snagged the long jump by a distance of 19-03.50, against La Cañada Katie McGuinness’ 19-00.75, and the triple jump by a whopping margin of 40-04.75, against Crean Lutheran Reese Hogan’s 39-6.00.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News, McGuinness bared her soul about how “very discouraged” the toll her loss to a biological male opponent left her feeling. “There are just certain genetic advantages that biological males have that biological girls don’t.

Hogan has similarly been vocally unable to stand for the disparity she and McGuinness have both identified as female athletes. She made a name for herself after posing on the first place podium, that Hernandez was anointed on, in protest for a photo op.

“He’s obviously a really talented athlete,” Hogan graciously yielded, and wished Hernandez the best of luck, “but in a boy’s division.”

Trump’s Department of Education has cracked down vigorously on Title IX violations, prioritizing biological sex over gender identity. DOE has already halted substantial funding to Maine, as well as the University of Pennsylvania, for permitting biological men into women’s and girls’ sports.

As Trump has never been one for empty threats, CIF has caved with a statement that “any biological female student-athlete who would have earned the next qualifying mark” in their own sectional final will now be “extended an opportunity to participate in the 2025 CIF State Track and Field Championships.”

This backpedaling stunt comes to no surprise after a recent public relations nightmare. CIF officials at Yorba Linda High School supposedly forced a few brave girls, proudly sporting ‘Protect Girls Sports’ shirts in defiance of the shaky eligibility standards, to remove them.

Just as cautious to cover his own neck, Gov. Newsom has endorsed the concessions made by CIF, with his office commending that the “proposed pilot is a reasonable, respectful way to navigate a complex issue without compromising competitive fairness.”

“As a Female, this transitioned person is practically unbeatable. THIS IS NOT FAIR, AND TOTALLY DEMEANING TO WOMEN AND GIRLS,” Trump hammered home on Truth, toying with the idea of involving local authorities if things do not progress.

The President astutely called back to when the governor had described the controversy surrounding Hernandez deeply “unfair” in an interview with Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk earlier March. Trump then pressed Newsom to speak with him directly now to “find out which way he wants to go.”

Newsom’s office has clarified further that CIF intends to “score separately for transgender students” at the hotly anticipated championship in Clovis, while confirmation on Newsom’s prospective call with President Trump remains pending.
