Orange County will kick off its USA250-OC celebration on January 14, 2025, at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda. The free event, taking place from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, marks the beginning of a year-long initiative leading up to the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
The evening will feature Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO of the National Constitution Center, who will speak on America’s founding principles and his book Pursuit of Happiness.
USA250-OC is a non-profit, non-partisan effort dedicated to fostering community engagement with the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. The event promises to inspire reflection on the country’s founding values and encourage meaningful dialogue among residents.
